Yes! That is me you see again...

I could handle it and I did!

After waiting for the fog to lift, we took off about 6:45 a.m. along with three other ppc-ers. Can you believe I snapped three shots on the ground; one in the air, then my battery died? Well, there went my method of fear distraction. It turned out just fine, though, by the time we landed at 8:15 a.m. I was more than ready, but somewhere up there, I'd gone from extremely fearful, to finding my... uhhh, would it be "air legs"?

The one I snapped in the air... it was quite foggy up there!

7:00 a.m.
cloudy and light fog
67 chilly degrees
altitude 2,000 feet for the most part

We had a very cool time. Literally and figuratively. My knees were shaking before we landed and it wasn't because due to fear. Whew, it was chilly!!

Confession time... we were naughty and buzzed a yard sale in my neighborhood, then flew on to a local landmark with a head wind all of the way. It took us almost an hour, but once we looped to return to the airport, we had tail winds and were back in 10 minutes. Our machine's top speed is about 30 mph, so that means we were zipping!

Wow, Jeannie.

This website (blog) is totally awesome and very much like the communicative friend I've know for many years (has it really been 25+ years?! How is it that we can be in our mid-50's and still feel so much like we did when we were barely 30 and both of us in braces???! :)

I'm truly impressed, by the layout, the photos, and your web graphic design.

You're so much more capable than I think you're aware Jeannie. I always knew you were smarter than me (not that it was a contest). I'm blessed to have you (still) as my friend and look forward to a long over due, lengthy telephone conversation (since I'm in Idaho and you're way-y-y over there!)
