I got on a bit of a roll this summer in creating a bird sanctuary in my yard. Better make that a big roll. It started with an old bird bath that had once been my dad's. It hadn't been used since he passed away in June 2006, well, actually for a year or so before. I've wanted to do something with it for a long time, but just couldn't get motivated. But! When I did... I did!
It's funny how God works... what I thought was going to be a sanctuary for the birds, has become my sanctuary. God didn't reveal to me until after I started this blog, that all along it's been part of Project Rewire. He can be such a sneak!
I can't even begin to describe the joy it's given me over the summer. I have all kinds of new bird friends, and I have pictures to prove it. These are just a few... :)

I was hoping you'd have new pictures today...aren't they sweet?! I love watching the birds in our back yard at the feeders and birdbath and fountain...not a care in the world!
